Steel Mooring Buoys

ANST designs and manufactures world-class Steel Mooring Buoys fitted with marine grade rubber fenders. The body is divided into 4 water tight compartments, with 6 mm thick bulkheads, each compartment having its own manhole at the top. The buoy body is grit blasted and painted with epoxy paint system of required colour. All four compartments are tested to 0.5 kg./ cm² pressure to detect any leak before painting. Following are standard type of mooring buoys as detailed below:(other sizes can also be provided)




CYLINDRICAL MOORING BUOYS (Admiralty standard) 

• Class -1: 4.4 M long x 2.5M dia x 10mm thick plate.
• Class -2: 4.0 M long x 2.3M dia x 10mm thick.
• Class -3: 3.5 M long x 2.1M dia x 10mm thick.
• Class -4: 2.9 M long x 1.6M dia x 10mm thick.

DRUM MOORING BUOYS (Admiralty standard)

DMB-2500:2.5M dia x 1600 mm height x 10mm thick.
DMB-3000:3.0M dia x 1700 mm height x 10mm thick.
DMB-3500:3.5M dia x 1800 mm height x 10mm thick.
DMB-4000:4.0M dia x 1900 mm height x 10mm thick.

DRUM MOORING BUOY (FOR UPTO 150,000 DWT VESSELS)
DMD-4200: 4.2M dia x 3.0M height x 10mm thick.
Mooring hook: Quick release, single or double.
Mooring system: To suit local conditions.


MOORING CHAINS AND SINKERS

• Open link and stud link chains

      16mm dia to 50mm dia with shackles and swivel piece.

• Cast iron and RCC sinkers

      (100 kg. to 5000 kg. weight)
