TECHNICAL FEATURES:

We have developed a new range of solar operated light incorporating Light Emitting Diodes (LED), replacing a.c. operated sodium vapour lamps which are heavy drain on power and have short life. Whereas LEDs have 15 years of service life.

LED Controller:

The LED controller module is a microprocessor based unit incorporating all the control function. Also it has temperature compensated solar charge regulator to safeguard the battery.

Day/ Night control:

The light is switched ON at dusk and OFF at dawn automatically.

Battery:

We are using the best available Sealed Maintenance Free (SMF) batteries,

Solar Panel:

Best quality solar panels are used of required wattage.

Sun Tracker:

We have introduced a Sun Tracker which rotates the solar panel inline with sun's path throughout day.

Intensity Programming:

Our solar lights are programmed to operate in a multi-power level mode. In this mode the light operates at full intensity for the first 4 hours and at 75% for the next 4 hours. At the end of this period the light will operate at 50% intensity until dawm. These parameters can be changed as per customer's requirement. This mode of operation will result in saving up to 25% of battery power compromising safety during the hours that the light is most needed thus increasing the battery autonomy period further.

ST-100 SUN TRACKER
TECHNICAL FEATURES

• We have introduced a revolutionary new technology that captures the sun’s energy with maximum-efficiency throughout the day.
  

• Based on that, we have developed a rugged, weatherproof, microprocessor controlled Sun Tracker. It supports a solar panel mounting assembly which rotates the axis of the solar panel towards the sun at regular intervals. At dusk, the mechanism rotates the solar panel back to face due East and waits for the sun to rise. To set East parking position and for seasonal adjustments the software incorporates an algorithm.

• During cloudy weather, the Sun Tracker’s ability to continuously move the solar panel to follow the sun’s path gives it an added advantage. If the sun comes out for even a short period, the solar panel will be perfectly positioned to give peak output. Thus keeping the battery charged even during cloudy weather, which is not possible with a fixed panel system.

• Further, by using a Sun Tracker, the daily output of the solar panel is almost doubled compared to that of a fixed panel, thus reducing the capacity of the solar panel to almost half, This results in an overall reduction in price even after including the cost of the Sun Tracker.
