St -100 Sun Tracker For Solar Street Lights

We have introduced a revolutionary new technology that captures the sun's energy with maximum-efficiency throughout the day.

Main advantage of Sun Tracker

• During cloudy weather, the Sun Tracker's ability to continuously move the solar panel to follow the sun's path gives it an added advantage. If the sun comes out even for a short period, the solar panel will be perfectly positioned in front of the sun to give peak output. Thus keeping the battery charged even during cloudy weather, which is not possible with a fixed panel system.

• Based on that, we have developed a rugged, weatherproof, microprocessor controlled SUN TRACKER. It supports a solar panel mounting assembly which rotates the axis of the solar panel towards the sun at regular intervals. At dusk, the mechanism rotates the solar panel back to face due East and waits for sun to rise. To set East parking position and seasonal adjustment the software incorporates and algorithm.

• Further, by using a Sun Tracker, the overall daily output of the solar panel is 34% more than that of a fixed panel, which makes the system more reliable, and economical.

• The designed service life of the Sun Tracker is more than 20 years.

Remote Monitoring System For Street Lights

ANST has developed a very reliable and economical Remote Monitoring system which uses GSM cellular telephone network. The system is designed for monitoring of solar operated street lights, 24 hours a day.

The outstation is fitted with 900/ 1800 MHz band cellular radio unit that interfaces with the microprocessor running ANST software. Each station is associated with its own telephone number stored on a SIM card exactly as used in a mobile telephone. At the receiver station one or more designated cellular telephones can be activated.

SIM card for each light to be provided by the purchaser.

The system carries following function.

Monitoring of Lights

During night conditions the Light is constantly monitored by measurement of the LED Current. If the LED Current remains consistently below a set level, a Light fail message will be sent to all the designated mobile telephones.

Monitoring of Battery Voltage

The system regularly measures the voltage and a Low Battery text message will be sent to the designated mobile telephones if the average voltage falls below 10.5 volts. When the battery voltage rises to 12V, the alarm condition will be cleared. If the average battery voltage falls to 1OV, the power to the Light will be reduced to assist the solar charge system to recover the battery voltage.

Status Report Via Command Message

The function of the lights can be verified by sending a command SMS to each light from the designated mobile phones any time during the day. When REPORT command message is sent, the Light will be energised for a second and the LED Current measured to confirm correct operation. The following status report will be transmitted to the designated telephones after receiving the command massage.
